music magazine ideas
The magazine, i will ultimately be creating, will be on the subject of music. We have been set the challenge of creating the front cover and four centre pages. As i have progressed in sorting through my ideas and discarding the ineffective ones i came across some better ideas that could essentially lead to some further, more worthy, data.
The font of the magazine cover will be Vivaldi. The reason for using Vivaldi is because each letter has a neat and smooth curve, this curve can be perceived as like a note in a song. The note of a song has to be neat and smooth as to fit in and make up part of the song.
I have not really decided on what the front cover picture should be. I would like it to be some form of instrument and within the magazine will be information concerning this instrument. For example, brand new guitars could appear on the front and the article could give descriptions on, for example, who created the first guitar, who was/ is the greatest guitar player in history, this may be accompanied by a tally or bar chart which people would be able to send in, stating their opinions on certain arguments, postings or contests that month. This front cover idea may however be changed to a picture of a modern DJ or popular singer that i think people would be interested in.
The colour of the magazine will not be one set colour throughout. The front cover will most likely have a white background and all font will be in brighter more modern colours for the younger observer. The center pages will be in deep red. I think this colour is an eccentric colour and will almost draw the reader into the page.
There will also be sub-pictures next to or underneath a description, this would be to help the audience understand the magazine.
The title of the magazine has not yet been decided.
